B. NSTP SLABS

EDUCATION- This NSTP slab should not only provide knowledge regarding our surroundings but as well as
in helping us grow into better versions of ourselves.

Book drive will enable people to extend their help through donating books or other reading
materials which may be beneficial to others. The materials may either be in Filipino or English that
can promote our literature and provide a wider knowledge to the readers. Not only we’ll be able
to help others in the community, but as well as in reusing the materials.

Seminars/workshops are the possible tools to share and teach people with regards to various
extent of life. This is important since it is a factor which contributes in social harmony.

ENVIRONMENT- This NSTP slab will enable us to connect with our environment and be responsible for
our actions. Herein, we’ll be able to ascertain the importance of our Mother Nature and how it helps us
in every way.

Tree planting campaign and 3R’s project may be implemented to help in sustaining the
environment. Through this, we’ll be able to maximize the use of our resources and we could
provide care to our Mother Earth. Furthermore, not only we, humans may benefit from this but
also the animals in keeping their habitats alive. It will enable us to connect with our environment
and learn to cherish it before it’s late.

RECREATION- This NSTP slab will establish strong relationship within people while they learn and enjoy.
The activities under this has its purpose to educate, save environment, and be aware of our society’s
situation.

Run for a Cause is a fun activity which falls under this category. Herein, the participants would not
only join to have fun, but also because of their advocations. Furthermore, the donations and
money that will be collected from this event would be given to the rightful beneficiary of the
activity.

Livelihood activity wherein wastes may be turned into something useful. The community will
benefit from it since it can be done while having fun and earning money at the same time since it
can be sold.

AWARENESS- This NSTP slab will help people in the community to be aware as well as to spread awareness
to other people to understand what issues are happening or may happen in the community.

Seminars and Workshops may be a cliché idea, but it is the most evident instrument to easily
convey the messages to people and spread awareness. Herein, the participants would be
educated and given details about the current issues such as health issues, financial, government,
etc. The community will benefit from it since this project can help people be informed enough.

C. SDS PROGRAM OF MAPUA

MAPUA’s SDS program can be a stepping stone to anyone who wants to pursue more of their desired
profession in the future because it can give them a big impact in their life. Their experience may be a
factor in contributing to their capabilities as a person. Students with these kinds of experience can make

them do more in the future if they liked it. It would be a great opportunity for people to experience
programs like this that would be a benefit for all.
