Objectives By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
1. Demonstrate understanding by writing simple
sentences on their daily routine
2. Demonstrate understanding by using correct
punctuation (full stops and capital letters) in their
sentences.

 Teacher shows the mystery box to the pupils.
 Pupils keep on guessing.
Pre lesson  Teacher gives some clues.
 Teacher shows the dice to the pupils.

 Teacher recalls the previous lesson about the adverb


of frequency to the pupils.
 In group, they will get set of pictures and adverbs of
frequency. Pupils must write 4 simple sentences.
They paste their sentences around their classroom
Lesson development and do gallery walk. (CS)
 Teacher distributes all materials to play snake and
ladder game to each group.
 Teacher explains to the pupils that they have to write
a sentence about their daily routines when their
house lands on adverbs. After they write their
sentence, another group member will do peer-
assessment (low proficiency pupils are giving extra
time to write their sentences/the advanced pupils can
help their low proficiency friends) (MS)
