-To provide or develop new idea of spaces which will acts as a healing space to user
rather than mediation hall
-Designing or construction of meditation hall will be in such a way that it be look like
a part of bio diversity park & its presence will not affect the shelter or habitation of
birds
-To design in such a way that a user will have to cross through it
-To design in such a way that it will be free from any type of religious contradiction
& will be available to all races
-The shape and elevation of building will attract and also give calmness to mind
-To document all collections of floral, faunal and geological specimens for the
reference of scientists and future generations.
-To make the natural treasures of this country one of the nation's tourism assets.
-Establishing the natural cycles and processes at the site in order to optimize the
available resources as far as possible.

SCOPE
As the demands of people are increasing from various spheres (job, home,
relationship, friends etc), the stress levels are also going high. This is true for
everyone. This is specially true for people in the corporate world where the race is to
achieve more and more with less time.

SCIENCE KINGDOM / CITY / PARK
A science city will house a set of buildings and spaces that must be inspiring
on the outside and motivating and exciting on the inside, to the visitors and
employees alike. It expresses a particular vision for discovery and the pursuit of
science. Humans interact with one another and with nature. They explore the
limitless universe and the inner self and the subtlety and complexity of these
explorations and social relations form the web of life. Such explorations result in
expressions that we have come to call Art or Science.
AIM:
To design a complex dedicated to science and space for the public users considering
circulation patterns, open spaces, appropriate lighting and acoustical treatment
features ,which will to inspire curiosity, discovery, and learning about science and
technology through interactive exhibitions, collections, and educational activities.
OBJECTIVES:
-To inspire, empower and educate visitors by exploring the ways in which science at
work in the world around them.
-To create a relaxing, inviting, exciting and informational place for the visitors.
-To create the scientific knowledge hub for aspiring scientists who can get better
knowledge of their subjects and can understand its importance.
NEED
-To design a space for children s play with science while they learn the fundamentals
of science.
SCOPE
The complex should be able to house all the requirements of science, to preserve the
evolution of science. This architectural milestone will act as a landmark and
bring out a new face for nation. Thrust areas for the science center has been
identified and they are,
LIMITATIONS
The design of a Science city calls for a very large scale and careful site planning
and detailing of the technical buildings. It requires a combined effort of a team of
designers and Engineers hence detailing all the buildings listed in the scope of the
project is beyond the scope of a designer at this level and within the stipulated time
frame of thesis period.
This project is limited to designing of spaces for the following:
-Mega science galleries
-Science park
-Open air auditorium
-Planetarium
-Mega planetarium
-Laser Shows
-Motion simulator
-Conference and seminar halls
-Research Centre
SITE DETAILS
Area: 48.5acres approx
Location:Bheemaili,Beach Road,Thimampuram,Kapuluppada,Visakhapatnam,
Andhra Pradesh.
The site is situated in the tourist hub.Thus the location strengthens the footfall in
science center.The site is surrounded by 22 colleges in the Visakhapatnam, where in 9
colleges located in the 7km vicinity
