Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering
specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
Attainment is marginally missed.
Observations:
Attainment can be improved in the following
subjects: 13.107, 13.304, 13.307, 13.504, 13.403,
13.602
PO1 2.26 2.24 Students are not able to apply the basic
knowledge of mathematics, science,
engineering fundamental in practical
engineering problems.
Actions
Remedial classes were conducted for the above mentioned subjects.
More problems were given for practice/Assignments.
Extra classes were conducted for weak students in engineering mathematics.
PO2: Problem Analysis
Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching
substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and
engineering sciences.
Attainment is marginally missed.
Observations:
Attainment can be improved in the following
subjects: 13.107, 13.304, 13.307, 13.504, 13.403,

Students were not able to identify the causes
behind the engineering problems.
Students were not able to analysis complex
engineering problems.
Actions
Students were encouraged to solve mathematical problems associated with the technical
subjects and design projects.

The higher attainment level can be maintained by conducting internal and external
sessions on latest softwares like Hypermesh , CATIA etc.
PO6: The engineer and society
Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal
and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering
practice.

Students are not able to apply engineering
practice techniques.
Actions
Encouraged the students to participate in the activities conducted by Anti Narcotic Cell,
NSS etc.
PO7: Environment and Sustainabilty
Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental
contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for Sustainable development.
Actions
The higher attainment level can be maintained by giving individual and group projects
related to sustainable projects.
PO8: Ethics
Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the
engineering practice.
Actions
The higher attainment level can be maintained by encouraging the students to abide the
ethical principles.
PO9: Individual and Team work
Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in
multidisciplinary settings.

The higher attainment level can be maintained by activities of various clubs of the
college like Mechatronics Club, IEEE, IEDC etc.
PO10: Communication
Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community
and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and
design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.
Actions
The higher attainment level can be maintained by motivating the students to perform
many activities like group discussion, debates, technical quiz, personality development
program conducted by CGPU.
PO11: Project management and finance.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and
apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in
multidisciplinary environments.

The higher attainment level can be maintained by motivating the students to participate
the activities conducted by IEDC.
