wildlife. Many may not realize that Malaysia is now being threatened by serious extinction of
various species of wildlife, both flora and fauna. There are two main problems and crises that
faced by wildlife in Malaysia, which is the verge of extinction of wildlife and the extinction of
wildlife. There are several species of wildlife that are now extinct and are no longer found in
their original habitat in any permanent forest or national park in Malaysia. The animals such
as Banteng, Javan Rhinos, Green Peacocks, Burung Upeh, Borneo Pygmy Elephants and
Kucing Batu is said to be extinct. The extinction of these animals should make us aware that
we need to take care of our wildlife. Meanwhile, other wild animals such as Sumatra Rhino,
Tapir, Malayan Tiger; Napuh Mousedeer, Orangutan, Samba Deer, Sun Bear, Black Shrews or
Black Mice are now on the verge of extinction and are rarely found in natural habitats in the
wild
