“SELF ASSESSMENT”:

• My name is Madifa Rizwan.I am in

Grade (X_C(Spring)) studying at
“Beaconhouse School System”
(BBTC).It's my second year in O-Levels’.
I have some strengths and weaknesses
in my academic year. If I talk about
strength subjects during this year, they
are English which I felt is strong
because of English vocabulary,
grammar & because of the best English
language which has improved my
skills. Urdu is also included in my
strength subject as being the “National
Language” of the country and because
of the good basic structure of the
subject is improved. Another strength
subject is Global Perspectives
(G.P).Though this subject was new to
me in O_Level but it carries no more
understanding, just includes some
researches and some source based
questions which are so easy for me.
These are my strength subjects because
of the good language skills, vocabulary
& grammer skills. Pakistan Studies
(History & Geography) is also my
strength subject. I feels that History is
all about remembering dates of the
past events, known their marking
schemes whereas geography is about
the environment of Pakistan which is
also an easy thing. I was able to score
good marks in them altogether. But as
their CIE’s will be held in April
including Islamyiat also .So, I also have
to work hard on these to gain good
marks in Cambridge examinations.
Islamyiat is also my strength subject.
As, its all about our own religion, I
don’t need to work really hard on it but
as it includes long answers in short
time, I have to fasten up my speed my
practicing them more & more.AS, I said
CIE’s of Islamyiat will also be held. So, I
need to improve my learning skills to
gain good grades.Now, I am going to
talk about my weak subjects .First of
all, I will start with Computer Science
which I had chosen as my main goal as
I have a lot of interest in computer. But
somewhere I am unable to build up my
concepts. I am working hard on it by
practicing past papers. I hope I will
improve. I am also weak at
Mathematics (Maths) as it contains
some formulae and understanding of
the concepts I need to improve the
concepts and do a lot of practicing and
also to learn the formulae to enhance
my basic learning skills to make my
concepts strong. Now, I am going to
talk about my weak subjects. Physics is
one of those subjects. I was not able to
score well. My better understanding of
the relevant topic was good I somehow
mixed the formulae and concepts
maybe because of less focused on the
concept or may be because of less
practice. I hope I will improve it in my
next exams. I also need to improve in
Chemistry. I didn’t get good grades in it
also as my concepts were confused and
mixed in it. Again by practicing these, I
will improve my basic concepts and
reactions of chemistry by learning the
equations, reactions and all related
skills. I have realized that where I
 stand. The main reason I felt I lacks in
is building strong understanding of the
concept and a lot of practice is
required. I hope I will improve these
weaknesses in my subjects in the next
coming exams in December to
continue my studies.
• Talking about any achievements/
participation/events in school, I have
participated in the assembly held by
our class on the topic "Ozone Layer".
There is also an coming event
“DAREECHA” which will be held in the
upcoming Friday this week. Previously,
we also had a party which was
celebrated, we all were dressed in
cloured clothes. Besides this, I have
also participated in the English Quiz
held by by HRCA.
