Ngọc: Good morning lady and gentlemen

Welcome to the five continents tour

We will take you to one of the most diverse and oldest civilizations in the world
and no other than Southeast Asia.
We will visit the country is known as the "Land of thousands of islands" of
Southeast Asia :Indonesia
My: The official Indonesian name is Republic of Indonesia
is a continental island nation located between Southeast Asia and Oceania.
Indonesia is dubbed the "Land of thousands of islands", including 13,487
islands, accounting for 1,910,540 km² and with a population of more than 260
million people (2019), the fourth largest in the world in terms of population and
number three in Asia in terms of population.
Khởi: The Indonesian word comes from the Latin word Indus, which means "India",
and the Greek word nesos, meaning "island".
The name goes back to the eighteenth century, long before the independence of
the Indonesian state
Since 1900, the name Indonesia has become more popular in academic
communities outside the Netherlands, and Indonesian national groups have
accepted the word in political expression.
Thư:
The fossilized remains of Homo erectus, often called "Javanese", show that the
Indonesian archipelago was inhabited from two million years to 500,000 years
ago.
Indonesian history is a very long time range, dating back to Ancient times about
1.7 million years ago based on the discovery of Homo erectus Java. The
historical period of Indonesia can be divided into 5 centuries:
Ngọc:
Pre-colonial era: The emergence of Hindu, Buddhist, and Muslim kingdoms on
the islands of Java and Sumatra. These countries develop based on trade and
maritime trade.
Colonial era: Under the control of the Europeans, especially the Dutch with the
control of the Dutch East India Company, they occupied this land to control the
way of spices and flavorings. About 3.5 centuries were colonies, starting from
the 17th century to the middle of the 20th century.
The new era of independence: The milestone was the Declaration of
Independence of Indonesians (1945) to the collapse of Sukarno (1966).
Era of new order: 32 years under Suharto rule (1966-1988).
The era of reform: The collapse of Suharto to the present.
Khởi:
Indonesia consists of 13,487 islands, about 6,000 of which are uninhabited. The
islands are scattered on both sides of the equator. The five largest islands are Java,
Sumatra (is the 6th largest island in the world and the largest island in Indonesia),
Kalimantan, New Guinea and Sulawesi. Indonesia has land borders with Malaysia on
the islands of Borneo and Sebatik, Papua New Guinea on the island of New Guinea,
and East Timor on the island of Timor.
My
The capital, Jakarta, is located on Java Island which is the largest city in the
country, followed by Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, and Semarang. With the
above geographical features, Indonesia is dubbed the "Land of thousands of
islands".
Thư

Puncak Jaya in Papua is Indonesia's highest peak, and Toba Lake in

Sumatra is the largest lake, with an area of 1,145 km². The country's largest
rivers are in the Kalimantan, and include the Mahakam and Barito rivers;
These rivers are important roads connecting settlements on the island.

Ngọc:

Indonesia has about 300 ethnic groups, each with a different cultural
background and has evolved over the centuries, with influences from India,
Saudi Arabia, China, Malaysia and Europe. For example, traditional
Javanese and Balinese dances contain elements of culture and mythology
in Hindu culture, the wayang kulit (ball puppet) is similar. Textile fabrics
such as batik, ikat and songket are produced throughout Indonesia but in a
different way according to region. The biggest influence on Indonesian
architecture comes from Indian architecture; However, the architectural
influences from China, Arab and Europe are also quite important.

Thư :

As a multi-religious country, festivals in Indonesia are diverse, with festivals

such as the Tahun Baru Saka, Tahun Baru Hijiriah, Tahun Baru Imlek,
Kasada, Ramadan

Indonesian cuisine varies by region depending on the influence of China,

Europe, the Middle East or India.

My:

Rice is the staple food and is eaten with meat and vegetables. Spices (with
lots of chili), coconut milk, fish and chicken are the main ingredients.
Traditional Indonesian music includes gamelan and keroncong. Dangdut is
a popular contemporary pop music genre influenced by Arabic, Indian and
Malaysian folk music.
Khởi: The Indonesian film industry flourished in the 1980s and occupied most of
the cinemas, although by the early 1990s it began to decline slightly. From
2000 to 2005, the number of Indonesian films released annually has been
steadily increasing.

Popular sports in Indonesia are table tennis and soccer; Indonesia Liga is
the highest level championship of football clubs in Indonesia. Traditional
sports include sepak takraw, and bullfighting in Madura.

Ngọc : The following I will mention more to you some interesting things about this
country

The first: Indonesia is an Islamic country with 87% of the population

following Islam and there are more than 700 languages being spoken in
Indonesia.

Second: In Indonesia, there are 400 active volcanoes, more than any other
country in the world.

My: Indonesia is a paradise for researching plants and animals. In 2010, around
200 new animals were discovered in Indonesia. On the summit of Kelimutu
volcano in Indonesia, there are 3 lakes formed from craters with very
unique colors (after a certain period of time the water color in the three
lakes changes): from turquoise to green leaf, red and black. Such color
variation is the result of chemical reactions of minerals in the water
generated by volcanic activities.

Thư: The Javan rhinoceros (Sunda rhino, also known as the one-rhinoceros
rhinoceros) is an animal that only appears in Indonesia, and you will not be
able to see this animal anywhere in the world because of the danger.
strains of it.

The Indonesian island of Komodo is the origin of the Dragon Komodo - The
world's largest lizard with a close relative to dinosaurs is facing extinction
due to gender imbalance and shrinking living conditions. Komodo dragons
are quite dangerous because they are carnivorous and can eat an entire
human being. Currently, Komodo Dragon is being protected under
Indonesian law, and Komodo National Park.
Khởi: Tourism is the main industry in developing the economy in Indonesia.
Indonesians call their country "Tanah Air Kita", meaning "Place of land and
water" and they call tourists "bule".

Next is: Bali is the largest tourist destination in Indonesia and is famous for
its highly developed arts, including dance, carving, painting, leather goods,
metallurgy and Balinese music.

Ngọc: "Adventure tourism and water sport" is an adventure sport, held the largest
annual exhibition in Indonesia.

The most special is in Indonesia, the internet is very slow and quite
expensive.

And in Indonesia there is a very beautiful ancient Buddhist temple,

Borobudur. Borobudur is a large Buddhist temple tower in central Java, the
name Borobudur is derived from Vihara Buddha Ur in Sanskrit, which
means "temple worshiping Buddha on the mountain". It is also one of the
most famous temples in the world and one of the most famous tourist
destinations of Indonesia.
