Create an Automated Sorting Rule


Hello and welcome back! In this session, we’ll create an automated sorting rule.

The custom folders that store Weatherford Records are now under the Archives folder.

Step 1: right-click on a message in the Inbox or Sent Items folder. Navigate to, “Create Rule”. Select that option.

Step 2: The Rules Wizard appears. Explore the Wizard’s options in the primary menu.

(Be confident! Explore the conditions in the secondary menus! No changes will apply until you click, “OK”.)

Step 3: Explore the conditions options available to choose from.
For example: applying these

and click, “OK”. from our O365 Administrator
will be automatically filed
into: Archive\Email

Remember:
the 180-Day Golden Rule does
Employee Name not run against the Archive
folder.

Use this Rule Wizard repeatedly to create rules that will lift and shift specific messages from the Inbox and
Sent Items folder to the Archive folder. Great job!
