Materials
400 m. fingering weight yarn
Knitting needles 8.0 mm
Knitting needles 5.0 mm

Stitches
• Ribbing 1 x 1: CO an odd number of stitches:
Row 1: * K1; P1.* ; repeat from * a *
Row 2: K over K and P over P
• Fishermen rib
Row 1: knit all stitches
Row 2: * k1, knit into the stitch below * , repeat from * to* to last 2 stitches, k2
Repeat row 2 to desire length

Scarf is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together.

Direction

With needles 8.0 mm, CO 23 stitches


Knit 30 rows in Fisherman rib. Start each row with a knit stitch.

Change to needles 5.0 mm and knit 10 rows in Ribbing 1 x 1

Repeat these 40 rows (30 rows in Fisherman rib and 10 rows in Ribbing 1 x 1) until the
desired lenght. End you scarf by knitting one repeat from the Fisherman rib (30 rows).
Loosely bind off knitwise.
