Concept

Unresolved Conflict

The concept tells a narrative on how the Philippines in some way is always at conflict. In a gist of events
comes with the rule of the Americans, after a brief liberation from the Spaniards. And even after that
comes the reign of the Japanese. These is to raise awareness especially to the Filipino youth on how
these World War periods affected our country of today. Even now, liberated, the country still at conflict.
The colonialization of the Philippines has affected the overall the cultural and heritage values of the
country. These can be evident at the current times within the country. Colonial Mentality reigning at a
high amongst the citizens and Political Figures being manipulated by far more powerful countries. War
may have ended but the detrimental seed that has been planted is just starting to sprout. The aim of the
museum is to raise awareness on the past events and to help empower the Filipino people to resolve
these problems plagiarizing the country from these said events. Hence the name Unresolved Conflict
