Introduction
Physical Education is essential to the
development of motor skills and the enhancement
of reflexes. Physical Education teaches us the
importance of physical health. In this course that
I take in the Philippine Normal University is a big
help in my physical, emotional, and mental health.
In my first term completing this course (PHED01) ,
my hand-eye coordination is improved, as well as
my body movements, that helps in the development
of my healthy body posture. This flexfolio is the
evidence of how I enjoyed my p.e class, how I
change my physical body based on the records that
I’ve got, and how does this subject help me to
establish good relationship with other people.

Rationale
This flexfolio aims to produce a wise and great
documentation and record of how do I improve myself
trough the different set of physical fitness that we have
done in the 1st term of my stay at Philippine Normal
University. This will also be the evidence of how physical
education teach me the necessary knowledge and skills
working with and relating to others, and provides the
learning opportunities to develop this skills and enable
this in the development of my leadership and teamwork
skills that encourage me to apply this in my daily living.
The different developmentally programs that I
committed in ( chess varsity and taekwondo varsity
trainings, wellness and creative dance practices and
performance, pre-test and post test, non locomotor
activity, and various FLA experiences) provides me a
unique experience and learning environment where
affective psychomotor, and cognitive skills had a room in
my development. In, addition, good health practices,
sportsmanship, self-control, discipline, and the
opportunity for positive social interaction with my peers
are fostered.

Fitness Advocacy
Physical Fitness is Important!
Physical activity and exercise is important for everyone.
Children, adolescents, and adults of all ages need regular
physical activity. Physical activity promotes good health, and
we should stay active throughout all stages of our life
regardless of our body type or BMI. Understanding the
benefits of physical fitness and knowing how active we are
should be help us maintain good health and improve our overall
quality of life. A sedentary lifestyle and a lack of physical
activity can take a toll on a our body. Physical inactivity is
associated with an increased risk for certain types of cancer,
numerous chronic diseases, and mental health issues. Exercise,
however, has been shown in different researches, enables to
improve mood and mental health, and provides numerous
health benefits. Of course physical fitness also allows us to do
things that we may not otherwise be able to do. So from, now
on let us live a life together with the maintenance of being
physically fit by means of a healthy diet and proper exercise.
Give time for ourselves everyday. At least give a part of it in
our everyday set of time, and you will see the things that I
see in myself when we incorporate ourselves in a healthy living.
