The Library of Congress website has tons of lesson plans related to a wide variety of
Social Studies content areas, as well as having lesson plans that are applicable for multiple
grade levels.

TEDed
TEDed has resources for both students and teachers. They also have lesson plans that
are applicable for a variety of content areas and a variety of learners.

PBS Learning Media
This resource has a lot of different resources that can supplement many areas of
content. It also helps to apply content to what is going on in the world today.

SMART Exchange
SMART Exchange has a lot of pre-made, SMARTboard applicable, lessons and
activities that are easy to incorporate into a classroom.

Screencast-O-Matic
Screencast-O-Matic is an online tool that lets one screen record and edit videos that is
free and easy to use.

GapMinder
GapMinder is an online map that shows you different data of a variety of different
countries. There are also different lens that can be applied to the graph such as age or income
levels.

Remember the Milk
Remember the Milk is a reminder and organizational tool that can be used by both
teachers and students. Teachers can also use it as a way to send reminders to students.
Evernote
Evernote is an online, easy to use, organizational note taking tool.

Rubistar
This is an online resource for teachers that has premade rubrics or will assist a teacher
with making rubrics.

This is an online resource for teachers, similar the Rubistar, that has premade quizzes or

Online community for gifted children that can be a useful resource for students,
