Module Reflection Questions:

1. Implementation of feedback:

In 1-2 paragraphs describe in detail your plan to revise your project based on the
feedback you received. Identify elements that you are able to modify, as well as any that
are not reasonable given time, expertise, and cost etc.

Our plan to revise the project based on the feedback we got is to make sure that
every single one of our links works from any platform that one may need to access it by.
For example, Danielle said that not a single link worked on any page, however, they
worked from our end. So to revise this we will open it up on many platforms and see if
there’s a way to get every platform to look exactly the same. Another thing we may
include next time is the budget. We did not feel like using it this time because we were
unable to add a line for viewers to individually input what their budget may be.

Many of the other things we would not be able to change due to the lack of
knowledge we have of Powerpoint. The in class videos and examples helped, however,
it was a lot to take it and remember. If we had more time to play around with it then we
would have most likely been able to add many more elements into our project.

2. Learning Reflection:

Looking back over your project and feedback, describe in 1-2 paragraphs what you have
learned about the process of revision and iteration. Based on your experiences describe
how you might approach this same project if you started again - what would you do
differently, the same, etc.?

After looking back over my project, I learned that it is very important to double
check multiple platforms when trying to implement links. If our links did not work on our
final project then the info we turned in would be essentially useless. I also learned that
creativity in activities like this are very important and I should let my mind expand, not
everything has to be super professional appearing!

If I were to do this same project over again, like I said previously, I would check
my links and make sure they work on all platforms. Doing this over would allow me to
implicate more of my own personality and creativity after seeing that my project did
appear to be very uniform and professional. I definitely would like to add a little bit more
of my own flare next time I did this sort of project.

3. Alternative Use / Future directions

In 1-2 paragraphs describe how the technology you focused on for your project might be
used in a way you had not initially considered? What are some real or hypothetical use
cases of the technology that we haven't considered?

The technology focused on for my project was not initially considered because I
never thought to use Powerpoint as a way to create and application that lead people to
an actual decision. I always considered Powerpoint to be a presentation source and not
an application creator. This is especially true because I was unaware that one could add
working links into their slides and I was also unaware that you can take away different
advancement methods to new slides. These features are what allowed it to become an
application versus a presentation. Some real or hypothetical uses would be things such
as organizing events or displaying knowledge that others may not know. These are both
similar to planning and organizing methods that can be done in a planner, but now they
can be done in Powerpoint as well. There are so many uses for these applications that
we never think about!
