Proposal for Mushroom cultivation unit

About the entrepreneur:


Itishree Mallik is a Post Graduate degree in Hotel management from National Institute of
Hotel Management & Tourism, Bhubaneswar. She has a worked in the hospitality industry
with leading hotel chains of India for nearly 2 years in Gurgaon (currently Gurugram) and
New Delhi. She is married to Debasish Pradhan son of Ramakanta Pradhan from
Kumbharkupa village. Her husband Debasish Pradhan is a B.Sc Agriculture Science
graduate and helping her in the venture. Post marriage she has started working in
developing kitchen garden at the roof top and mushroom cultivation in the garage at our
residence in Bhubaneswar. She also attended and completed 7 days mushroom cultivation
training in OUAT Bhubaneswar. Now she wants to start a full-fledged mushroom
cultivation farm in her native village of Panaspodi under Baliguda NAC.

2. Avg Sale price- Rs. 140.00
3. Gross return- 300 x 140 = Rs. 42,000.00
4. Net income- Gross return-Recurring cost – Depriciation @10% for Fixed cost-
interest@ 10% of total investment =Rs 42000 – (17000+880+875)
= Rs 23245 nearly Rs 23000.00
(Rupees Twenty three thousand only)

Conclusion: The scheme is technically feasible and economically viable.
