The supplier guarantees to meet the requirements listed below for the above mentioned
packaging material:

 The described packaging material is fit to be used for the packaging of food (food safe).
The packaging material is not harmful related to human health when used as intended.
The requirements laid down in the German “Lebensmittel- und Futtermittelgesetzbuch
(LFGB) as well as the requirements laid down in the Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002 have
to be meet in terms of food safety.
 The food is not negatively affected. This would be the case when surface treatment
agents, flexibilizer – migrate from packaging material into the food in a way that it
becomes harmful, spoilt, impaired, distorted or hygienic adversely affected.

 Packaging materials made of paper, cardboard, carton correspond to the

recommendations of the German Federal Department for Risk Assessment (BfR).

 The standards set by the Packaging Ordinance concerning the heavy metal
concentration are being adhered too.

 All the necessary measures of quality assurance in the scope of due diligence to exclude
negative affects at production of the product are taken.

 The production and storage of the packaging materials is done under conditions of good
hygiene practice in particular in order to avoid potential dangers for the ussage with
foodstuff.
 Quality control check is done before delivery, which includes at least all agreed and
specified parameters according to the raw material specification and the product data
sheet respectively.
 The herewith documented packaging material complies with the food laws requirements
and regulations in the EU in its current valid versions. Moreover, the currently valid legal
requirements related to materials and articles intended to come into contact with food
have to be met by the herewith documented packaging material. The following laws and
regulations have to be considered in particular:

- Commodities Regulation, the Food and Feed Code (LFGB), the German
“Bedarfsgegenständeverordnung” (Regulation on materials and articles intended to
come into contact with food) and Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 on materials and
articles intended to come into contact with food;

- Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 related to plastic materials and articles intended to come
into contact with food;

- Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 and 282 / 2008 on good manufacturing practices for
materials and articles intended to come into contact with food

- Regulation (EC) 2006/1907 REACH

There are no materials delivered which contain substances of the SVHC-List of ECHA
(European Chemical Agency)

There are analytical migration reports made in accordance with the currently valid
requirements of Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011. The analytical reports of these migration tests
are attached to this declaration. The migration tests related to the specific migration limits
(SML - specific migration limit) and related to the overall migration limits (OML – overall
migration limit) are performed in accordance with the requirements laid down in regulation
(EU) No. 10/2011. We will also comply with and consider the new migration tests, which will
have to be applied and will only be accepted by 1.1.2016 (Article 18 of Regulation (EU) No.
10/2011.

Print colours / Ink-colours

 The printing inks used for food packaging are in accordance with the respective
regulations (EU, Germany) and approved. In particular the requirements of the 21.
Amendment of the German “Bedarfsgegenständeverordnung” (Regulation on materials
and articles intended to come into contact with food) which refers to print-/ink-colours
applied in / on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food have to be
met. The currently valid version of the “Bedarfsgegenständeverordnung” has to be
applied. A direct contact between printing ink and food is not allowed:
