Liberty is a bluff bowed barge

with the fine lines associated
with Dutch barge building. The
interior fit out was carried out to
a good standard by the first UK
owners who imported the boat
from the Netherlands in 1989.
The present owner has lived
aboard since 1998 and has made
a number of modernisations.
At 56ft in length the vessel is
easily handled yet with spacious
accommodation. There is ample
room for 6 berths (if a sofa bed is
placed in the wheelhouse cabin).
The boat is fully equipped for
long term cruising independent
of shore supply. There is a built
in 4kVA diesel generator which
can run the washing machine
and other 240v appliances. The
heating system - installed by the
present owner in 2001 - uses
a powerful multi fuel stove to
run radiators. All in all an eye
catching original craft.
