Change Log: AZ-100T01xA Courses 1

November 28, 2018

Purpose
The purpose of this document is to highlight the significant changes to the AZ-
100T01A courses from the previous release. This document is for Microsoft
Certified Trainers and Instructors to use before they deliver the class or during
preparation for teaching the class.

This is not an error log or a supplement to the Course Materials. This document just
provides additional context so that you can understand the major changes to the
course content. Most of the course materials in the MCT Download Center have
been updated to fix typos, broken links, and formatting. So, we recommend you
always download the latest copies.

✔️ Please read the Instructor Preparation Guide which provides the overall strategy
for implementing this training.

All Courses
Formal labs are now provided for each course. The lab guides are in a PDF format
and available in the MCT Download Center and in the Microsoft Learning GitHub
repository. In addition to the lab guide any supplemental course files, like scripts and
templates, are also provided. To complete the labs, you will need:

• An internet connection to the Azure portal.

• An Azure subscription. To complete certain labs, as noted in the lab guides,

you must use a Microsoft account that has the Owner role.

The Module 0 PowerPoint file for each course has a lab slide that lists the labs and
lab exercises for that course. For each course, you need to decide where to offer the
lab during the course. You can have students do the lab at the end of the course or
wherever you determine it makes the most sense to do the individual exercises.

The lab content has been placed at the end of each course for consistency and
convenience. However, as the instructor, you are the best judge of your individual
classes, and we wanted to provide you with that flexibility.
