Our Vision
Our vision is to enable the awakening of future citizens by allowing them to discover a Value Sys-
tem for themselves. The Awakened Citizen Program (ACP) is based on Swami Vivekananda’s idea
that every child has infinite strength, power and goodness within them and can be awakened
when children are given the right environment and guidance. Teachers facilitate this awakening
by allowing children to understand consequences of their thoughts and actions and then allow
them free choice to accept the values they believe are good for them and for society at large.
The program also helps in awakening teachers to their real purpose in life-that of unfolding the
infinite potential that exists within themselves and the students they teach.

Approach of the Program

Unlike conventional value education programs, a Structured Discovery Approach TM , developed
by Illumine Knowledge Resource Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, who are experts in the field of cognitive
learning, is being used. This approach is backed by years of intensive and extensive research,
and includes the results of a pilot program that was conducted in large numbers of schools.
Availability of Smart Board or Projector and Computer with MS Office software is essential for
conducting this program in schools.
