Class 11A-2. Date 27th of October 2019.

This lesson was my first visit lesson. Where it is my first time teaching secondary learners in
front of my MCT (Mentor college teacher). The lesson was about jobs of the future, the learning
outcomes were to teach them three type of jobs included in their reading passage, which were;
disappearing jobs, growing jobs and new jobs. In addition, they identify some new terms related
to the lesson and based on these outcomes; they have to create a mind map before they move
to the writing stage. The pre-stage was a good one for their warming up part, as I received from
both my MST and MCT, the warm up was attached with the lesson, in which they answer some
questions consists of future jobs but physically through standing up and stay seated. Moreover,
the next part was showing them a video and ask them to take notes based on two questions in a
paper, what are the future jobs in the video? In addition, what are some disappearing one?
Moreover, why they will be disappeared? This part made the video purposeful so they take
notes while watching the video and think of the lesson outcomes as well. However, this part was
little bit needed to work on more, where I should make the questions more bigly sized so they
can see it clearly. Moreover, the mind mapping strategy was good as I was told, but needed a lot
of work, such as time management, so I should limit the time for 10 minutes instead of 20,
which was a long one. In addition, I need to work more on my classroom management, where
the students should listen to each other and do not interrupt. Overall, the lesson was delivered
good even though I had many things to improve, thus, I will try my best next time and work
more to improve them.
