Journal 5.

The last week was an empty one. Where it was nothing to do but assessing projects. However,
experiencing new level and new students made me aware of many things. How to manage high
school students that are almost at the same age of mine, how to deal with them when they are
stubborn, and convince them if wanted a specific point to be conveyed, and the most important
thing is how to build a good relationship with them. This happened through making activities
they love, trying to teach the way they love to be taught and listening to them when they
wanted someone to share things with. Although I had many issue regarding one of my students,
I managed to solve it between both of us, I talked to her and asked her about the problem she
had with me until we come up with a solution and managed to be friends. In addition, receiving
gifts and good words from my students made me feel of well achieving, it made me sure that I at
least was good with them, which means a lot to me. In the last day, I gave my MST a small gift,
which she deserved, seeing her happy and appreciating me supported the feelings my students
have created at first, it conveyed the message that I did my best, not perfect but tried to be a
good teacher and student. Finally, I am fully encouraged to improve things I had not the enough
time to do, as well as learn many other strategies to teach and support students.
