role of Business is to increase profits” Discuss

In my opinion, I agree the question mention that the only role of business is to increase
profit, because no any company they open the business is not for earn profit. All the country
has two type business types that are profit and non-profit business. Some company they create
the business is to increase profit but they can help the society or cultivate the next generation.
The profit companies have two types in all the country. One of the profit companies their aim
is earn the money and help the society such as Private Sport Club, tuition center, music class
and so on. The other profit company is only aim to earning money which is Gambling Company.
Gambling Company got Genting Casino, Maxbet, ECL bet and so on, it is the profit-
oriented company will do. The purpose of gambling company is focus on earning profit. And
only care about when the customer will return them money. Some of the gambling company
will take ‘action’ when the customer did not return the money. For an example, they will call
some gangster to threat the people and force them to return money. Making profit is important
for them but they should not be use the illegal method to increase their profit. Some gambling
company will take the extra profit to upgrade their system and website to attract more
customers to gambling. However, the gambling company should not put some contribution to
the society, because some gambling company is illegal in Malaysia.

Furthermore, the other earning profit business is private sport club, because sport is the
trend in our society nowadays. So that, a lot of people they create the private sport club to earn
profit. The purpose of private sport club is to increase their profit and the second is they can
help the country to cultivate the next generation. Most of the parent likely to send their children
to private sport club for training, because their parent like to compare their children result or
skill to other parent. So that, the private sports club business is fulfilling what the consumer
needed. Private sport club training fee is expensive than school training, because they have to
earn profit since they have to hire the professional personal trainer for train the children. Once
their children have a good result in sports, the parents will intro the sport club to their friend or
others peoples. Therefore, when the consumers of private sport club are increase then they no
need to do extra marketing for their business. The consumers are wiliness to promote since
their children have a good result in sport competition. In addition, the tuition center and music
class is the same business method with sport club. They target earn the profit and also help the
society.
In the other hand, HUAWEI Company is the smartphone company and it is form China.
The main purpose of HUAWEI Company is earning the profit. So that, the HUAWEI Company
is keep investigate the new technologies since their competitor is Apple Company. The main
purpose of HUAWEI Company is earn profit and to be the best smartphone in the world. (James
Rogerson, 2019) They always investigate the new technologies and improve their smartphone
quality to attract consumer. They hope that they can increase the profit at the same time and
also bring the best quality smartphone to their consumers. This is the good behavior for
company because they are also not lying the consumer and cheating on the material of the
smartphone. So those, the consumer are willingness to trust them and buy the smartphone form
HUAWEI Company. Therefore, the profit of HUAWEI Company will be increase. (Jon Russell,
2019) HUAWEI Company has created some CSR program to assistance the local people in
flood-affected. (Xinhua News Agency, 2017)
When the company is more focus in earn profit, and then they should be pay more tax
to government. In the other hands, once the company is earning a lot of profit, they must
increase the salary of employee as a reward. The company can reward the employee if they
have the good performance. The employees are the most important for one company. So that,
once the company increase the salary is equal to improve the company quality. If increase the
employee salary they will more willingness to put more effort and attention in their job. Last
but not least, earn the profit can stimulus and help to growth the country economic. If company
is no any profit earning, it will cause a lot of issue.
