3.7.7. Having speaking skills in front of the class through the presentation of exploration results.

6 LEARNING MATERIALS
In the natural environment or ecosystem, there are links between food chains that are
interrelated. This relationship is very complex, with one organism being part of several food
chains. Therefore, a web-like structure forms in the place of a linear food chain. structures such
as Nets if formed with interrelated food chains and those interconnected matrices are known as
food webs.
Food webs are an inseparable part of the ecosystem; This food web allows organisms to
obtain more food than one lower trophic level organism type.
A food web is a graphical representation of the feeding relationship between species from
the ecological community. Food nets consist of food chains from certain ecosystems. Food nets
are illustrations of various eating methods that connect ecosystems. Food webs also define
energy flow through species communities as a result of their eating relationships. All food
chains are interconnected and overlapping in an ecosystem and they make a food web.
Every living thing is responsible and is part of several food chains in certain ecosystems.
This is also called the consumer resource system.
A pioneer of animal ecology Charles Elton (1927) introduced the concept of food webs
which he called the food cycle. Charles Elton explains the concept of food nets: Carnivorous
animals prey on herbivores. This herbivore gets energy from sunlight. Carnivores can then also
be eaten by other carnivores.
Up to the range where the animal does not have an enemy forms the end of this food cycle.
There are animal chains that are connected by food, and all depend on plants in the long run.
This is called the food chain and all food chains in a community are known as the food cycle.
