The table shows that 14 out of 20 or 70 % of the respondents perceive that community “asks for

teacher’s advice for a solution to a problem in the community “reported by description

“sometimes”. 11 out of 20 or 55% of the respondents perceive that community “ask for teachers

services in the community events” reported the description “sometimes”, 13 out of 20 or 65% of

the respondents perceive that community “ cooperate when teachers request them to do

something in school” reported by the description “always” , 15 out of 20 or 75% of the

respondents perceive that community “consider the teacher as a respected person by the

community members” reported by description “always”, 13 out of 20 or 65% of the respondents

perceive that community “ teachers serves as a models of good behavior in the community”

reported by description “always”, 13 out of 20 or 65 % of the respondents perceive that the

community “ fully entrust their children to the teachers” reported by the description “always”12

out of 20 or 60% of the respondents perceive that the community “ teachers conduct home

visitation” reported by the description “sometimes” 16 out of 20 or 80 % of the respondents

perceive that community “consider the teachers as a one leaders in the community” reported by

the description “always” 17 out of 20 or 85% of the respondents perceive that community

“:consider teachers as a second parents of their children” reported by description “always” 14

out of 20 or 70% of the respondents perceive that community “ talk with teachers about

performance or status of children in school” reported by the description “sometimes”

In relation to the above, the responses of the following from the are among the negative

comments. First is from the retired midwife says that “No home visitation ,kulang e oras sha”,

and from the housewife comments that “ egkuma era manpost shi facebook ni egera man

enegwatan ja teachers”. Here are also some positive comments from the community “ eya

numan e maestara jen naanus ja mantusho ni skweda to,” all teachers are industrious” , “they
consider teachers in school as model and a true hero because they spent their time in school

serving other children not their own even holidays when time is of the essence”.” They deserve

to have more incentives”. “Teachers are responsible and loving to their students”. “Teachers are

the second parent of the student, Shaka pepno e no ngento man e shaka obserbaren problema ni

skweda ra, ira ka un atang man disiplina tan mengekan ni emotional weno moral support. Sikara

e modelo tan inspiration era ni skweda ra”,” mapteng era shaka epakat kabaedin sha” and lastly

“teachers are not only of knowledge but of a character and attitude. They teach through words

and actions”

In other research a teacher is a facilitator of learning and of the development of the youth;

he shall therefore ,render the best service by providing an environment conducive to such

learning and growth (ArticleIII, sec. 1)
