not much else in terms of depth and
breadth. If you know what you want, it is
good because you can go and find certain
facts.
Authority 7 – The site provides information for the
main editors of the website. You can
contact the site through e-mail. The main
editor has tons of experience in public
policy research and analysis which makes
him fairly well adept for the topics.
Accuracy 8 – The information is supported by
research and the tone seems mostly
unbiased. The information Is fact and
supported by various sources, which are
listed on the website.
Purpose 8 – The purpose of the site is to verify
facts and it doesn’t have any adverts on
it which would suggest it doesn’t have an
agenda or sponsors.

if you have a specific fact you want

scholars ensures the information is

unlikely to have much of an agenda
or be biased. They have also won
many awards for the way their site is

Overall, I think the set-up of factcheck.org led to it to be a more reliable source to use. The
larger community that it uses to update the website means it can properly and appropriately
address topics in more depth. Opposed to this justfacts.com uses a more standard, bulleted
approach where it simply provides facts on certain topics, rather than assessing already existing
facts. The way factcheck.org is set-up makes it easy to contact them for any queries.
Factcheck.org also boasts higher credentials because it has won awards.
