India)
Assisted with research and drafting of civil matters. Also observed court proceedings and attended many client meetings.

 Interned under Senior Advocate and SPP Mr. Raja Thackrey (Bombay High Court and District Court)
Understood the working of various extraordinary laws (like TADA, POTA, UAPA etc.) and also used the provision of RTI
Act to further analyse the conviction under these laws in various cases in Maharashtra. Assisted with preparing case
notes and researched on various topic related to cases, including cases under the Indian Penal Code and Maharashtra
Control of Organized Crime Act and other Criminal Acts involving niceties of provisions of Indian Evidence Act and
Criminal Procedure Code. Worked on cases of Indian Mujahedeen (Bomb blast cases under the UAPA in which the
accused were involved in several bomb blasts in Gujrat, Delhi, Hyderabad, etc.), Farid Tanasha (A gangster who was
brutally murdered by members of Organized Crime Syndicate), and Sohrabuddin (Fake encounter case which was
transferred by the Supreme Court from Gujarat to Bombay High Court) among others.

Gained a better understanding of the application of provisions of Criminal Procedure Code and Civil Procedure Code
though observation of various Criminal and Civil Cases. Assisted in research regarding criminal matters and also got a
chance to work closely on few important cases like PNB, fraud case among others.

 Interned at Enviro Legal Defence Firm, New Delhi

Research on the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 by going through the Act and the Major Judgements , Visited the
National Green Tribunal and gained a better understanding of the provisions of the NGT Act and its functions,
Understood the process of obtaining Wildlife Clearances for Development Projects, The various steps involved in
Environment Impact Assessment.

 Interned under Advocate Anil Kumar Sharma (Delhi High Court and District Court)
Assisted with Drafting and Legal Research on various laws such as CPC, RERA etc. Assisted with research and
drafting of both civil and criminal matters. I was fortunate enough to have an opportunity to help Mr. Sharma prepare
 for his Cross-examinations in several important cases, one of which was C.B.I vs. Sajjan Kumar (1984 Anti-Sikh Riots
case).
