05 When was ISO 19600 introduced?

ISO 19600 - Compliance management systems is a compliance standard intro-
duced by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in April 2014.

How does ISO 19600 relate to other management system

06 standards (ISO 37001 …)?
In general, organizations can adopt this international standard as stand-alone guid-
ance or can integrate it easily with already existing management program stan-
dards (i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).
 Why should I invest in implementing a CMS and certifying it
07 against ISO 19600?
By being certified against ISO 19600, the organization will be capable to detect
all existing compliance gaps and implement appropriate corrective actions by
following ISO 19600 recommendations.

08 How long is an ISO 19600 certificate valid?

The ISO 19600 Foundation Certificate does not expire and there is no need to pay
the Annual Maintenance fee (AMF) and CPD credits.

09 Can I download my certificate?

Yes, you will be able to download the certificate and print it or have it in a PDF
format once you successfully pass the exam.

10 Will I be supervised by the certification body?

Yes, the certification body will conduct regular assessments of your Compliance
Management System. You are also obliged to announce major changes of your
CMS. The certification body will then decide on the necessity of additional checks.
