begin a process which could save the Earth. Moreover, a critic from New York Magazine, called
the film as the one of the most realistic documentaries that he have ever seen,
The author of the review is Joktan T. Belarmino, a mechanical engineer student from

The main point of the movie is about climate change and global warming. It clearly shows
setting out key causes, effects and solutions to global climate. Furthermore, he also presents the
three causes of global warming: population, technology and barriers to new thinking. Moreover,
evidence that the increase in global temperature over the last 100 years is, to a large extent, due to
greenhouse gas emissions from human activity. The movie is a documentary which speaks
concerning global warming, The movie is based from reality with our surroundings, events, and
history as facts and researches as well as books through compiling all the supporting evidences
which will support his movement through a presentation with a medium. The movie was written
by Al Gore and was directed by Davis Guggenheim. Moreover, the main audience of the story is
nonetheless but everyone ---individual, child, public, politicians and etc. Furthermore, the movie
serves as a warning. It spreads awareness. The movie lead us to value new thinking that whatever
the eventual impacts, there is a need to act immediately to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Another major point, the movie made the general public realized that the public must be fully
aware on the right way of preventing through a proper knowledge about positive and negative
impacts of global warming. Al Gore wants us to act immediately for the solutions in order to reduce
the impacts if the global warning.
The movie is all about the appreciation of nature and prevention as Al Gore thinks that the
world is gradually worsening due to human activities and begins with an introduction to the basic
science of global warming and the greenhouse gases that cause it then goes into one effect of global
warming: receding glaciers. This part of the movie looks at dramatic changes at different locations
around the world through comparison photos and charts that show an increase in temperature and
carbon dioxide levels. Furthermore, the next thing is it covers rising temperature and how it affects
the Earth’s weather patterns. Over roughly fifty pages, he looks at heat waves, hurricanes and other
storms, desertification, and how weather events have increased in intensity and duration. In
stressing their severity, he looks at the human-scale effects of such disasters, including losses to
the economy and human livelihood and returns to global issues by focusing on the Arctic and the
Antarctic, which are particularly sensitive to changes in weather patterns. He inserts an anecdote
about how his personal travels allowed him to understand better the climate issues the world is
facing. He details the environmental shifts that may be coming, and how they might change the
balance of nature.
The movie “An Inconvenient Truth”, is one of many documentaries that are worth of time
to experience watching the movie due to originality of the content, it clearly reflects the
environment we lived in, and of course, it is based on facts. The strengths of the movie was the
role of the characters was portrayed realistically and the credibility of the movie itself while on the
other hand, the movie was not meant for audiences who are still too young due to thefact that it
may be quite disturbing fir them. However, they are part of the future generation that should make
a huge leap on solving the global issue concerning global warming. Furthermore, the movie
delivered the message successfully to the public. The movie explained the writer’s mission as well
as the goals of the movie concerning environment. The main and only character of the story is Al
Gore, in which is he is the former Vice President of the United Stations. The movie conveys a
really disturbing yet affirming message to the world and I am really moved to be a part of the
movement. I agree to his intentions concerning the prevention of global warming. The actors did
a great job on delivering their lines as well as their acting their role out to give a great watching
experience to their audiences. Furthermore, the current and future generations will benefit from
the awareness that the movie gave. The lesson of the movie is that preventing global warming
starts with us, individuals. Global warming cannot be reversed but it can be prevented. I fully
recommend this film to all people and audiences. This movie is an eye-opener for people whose
mind were closed to accept that the planet will soon to be dead.
In conclusion, the movie gives a fascinating insight into the moral drive of one man to
address this issue. Gore has long been an advocate of environmental matters but has struggled to
get his message across. He reflects on this struggle and emphasises how he is still trying to do so:
he has presented his slideshow over 1,000 times around the globe. In the end, he states that
ultimately it is up to each individual to act upon the messages of the movie. Humans have caused
major climate changes to happen already, and we have set in motion more changes still. Even if
we stopped emitting greenhouse gases today, global warming would continue to happen for at least
several more decades, if not centuries. Furthermore, it may not be too late to avoid or limit some
of the worst effects of climate change. Responding to climate change will involve a two-tier
approach: mitigation, reducing the flow of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere; adaptation
learning to live with, and adapt to, the climate change that has already been set in motion.
Furthermore, many peoplpe appreciated that a decrease in industrial and vehicle emissions could
play a major role in this reduction, and producing energy from renewable sources was another
popular idea and fewer people appreciated the role that actions by individuals, such as "saving"
electricity and recycling paper, might play; perhaps suggesting that young people feel
disempowered about this issue.
