I.OBJECTIVES For the students to be oriented and informed by the teacher about the house rules under his subject and in the computer laboratory.
Short introduction about the teacher’s personal information and educational background together with his point of view about the
education of this new generation. While the fresh senior high school students will also introduce themselves to the whole class for them
to be known by the teacher and their classmates. Introduction about the subject and the first lesson short discussion.
A. Content Standards The learners should be able to break the ice and understand the following:
1.) The role of SHS Students as learners under the supervision of the SHS Teacher.
2.) Thinking deeper insights and positive ideas about the system of learning nowadays.
3.) Understanding the Brief History of Information, the sending and receiving of messages from the olden days up to now.
4.) Importance of having knowledge in new technologies especially in the field of ICT.
B. Performance Standards The learners shall be able to communicate effectively by introducing themselves to the class and building foundation of professionalism
by creating a profile resume in a yellow pad. They shall be able to relate themselves as part of the ever changing technology of
communication by participating in a recitation during the discussion.
C. Learning Competencies
Building self-confidence, enhancing oral communication, open-mindedness and practicing good handwriting.

Analyze and compare the vast difference between old ancient ways of communication back in the old days and the highly technological
advance way of communication of ICT.

A. Lesson Presentation Going back to history. How the ancient people and civilizations communicate with each other?
What is the role of the modern technology in changing the way we communicate, send and receive information?
B. Establishing purpose for the Lesson How do old ways of communication develop and progress all trough out history?

C. Presenting examples /instances of the new lessons Making some sketches on the whiteboard about the old way of communications back in the old days.
Showing some pictures of the old way or devices of information.

Showing the new devices and tools in information and Communication Technology.

D. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills #1.


Grouping the class into five and the teacher will suggest a Drama Play of different Working Environment involving ICT.

By choosing the category of Computer Repair Shop, School Enrollment, Business Conference, Electronic Business Store and others.
Let the other students watch the play and let them make some comments and reaction about ICT.
