NINTEX PARTNER CASE STUDY | KBQUEST

“Very Trusted” Partnership Results in

Success for Both KBQuest and Nintex
A group of IT professionals
founded KBQuest in Los
Angeles, California in 2000.
The company provides IT
consulting, system integration
and software development
services to leading companies
in the United States, China and
Japan, and specializes in cloud
technologies, mobile solutions
and enterprise systems design
& development. During its first year as a Nintex partner, KBQuest tried to sell Nintex products to
existing customers but didn’t close any deals with prospective customers. The
Microsoft named KBQuest company worked to figure out why and as a result, added dedicated sales resources
to the Nintex platform. In 2012, the company closed 75% to 80% of its Nintex product

Learning Curve for Customers is “Extremely Low”

Unlike other technologies, which involve “a lot of workshops, a lot of handholding,”
the Nintex platform is incredibly easy for customers to learn to use.

“You don’t need to learn a lot of new things,” he says. “As long as they know
SharePoint, they’re fine.”

As KBQuest knows, complex solutions result in low user adoption. Not only is the
Nintex platform easy to use but it’s also “matched to this generation’s demands,”
Eric says. One example is the fact that people can pull up a Nintex form and it’ll
render based on the device being used. That’s extremely important but would
be time-consuming if KBQuest developers had to develop all the interfaces for
customers.
