Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Two large roaster pans filled with home prepared
sauerkraut are being reheated for tonight's 'Pork and Sauerkraut Dinner' for the public.
Corrective Action(s): Facility may not serve the home prepared sauerkraut at the public event. Action Taken: Fac
ility agreed not to serve the home prepared sauerkraut and volunteers went to GFS to purchase prepared
sauerkraut for the event.
Code citation: (A) FOOD shall be obtained from sources that comply with LAW.
(B) FOOD prepared in a private home may not be used or offered for human consumption in a FOOD
ESTABLISHMENT.
