Reflection 3:

The third week I attend school, was very cool to me because it was many things happened this
week. Firstly, the students love me, they were asking about me where are you teacher we miss
you when I was in the College for general courses so, I understand that the relationship with the
students is the important thing in our life as a teacher in the School or even in the College
because of the students who make your life happy.

As we know that we have to attend the class with my teacher, but my students tell me please
attend with us the Arabic classes also, so that what I did it and help them when they need it. The
second thing was very meaningful to me when D. Olga attend my class to observe me I was
preparing a good lesson plan with perfect activities so, she was very proud of me and give me A
in the feedback and said to me Jawaher you will be a perfect teacher in your life so ,that makes
me very happy and start to look forward in my life. The teacher, not her work just teaches the
students but works with them as a sister, talk ,prepare for them something different that all make
you a different teacher and the important thing is the students start to love you. I really believe
that if you love your work or teaching you will love everything around you because I see that in
the school how the teacher comes to the school some of them with positive energy and some of
them with negative energy that just depends on you not the others.

I was so happy when I teach a math lesson because the students understood from me that makes
me happy because what I do was very different, I depend to use hands-on activities. I make them
to work on the differentiation activity by using posters, fish, cups envelope and computer . For
example I give the low level the activity which is the poster and the fish is number line so they
will choose the correct fish (question with the answer) and paste it in the true or false envelope
but the medium level will cut the fish (contain question) and put it in the right cup). The high
level I depend to make them using the computer they will play a game about the lesson. I was
walking around them and help them and give them positive feedback. The students like this
lesson and tell me teach us everyday the math.

So that differentiation makes them understand because we see that they using their hands and
apply the lesson. I really love the students they very good and respectful. Some of the days one
student say to me Ms., please when you will teach us again, so that was clear to me they really
love me and love the way I teach them, so this week was very wonderful to me.
