Engagement: The students will be engaged in the manipulation of technology to further enhance their
familiarity with how to operate technology.
Representation: Students will create a video about each of the function they have been given
/ chosen.
Action and Expression: Students will be able to express their understanding through a video. They
also can connect their knowledge of the linear function, quadratic function and cubic function
together.

Lesson idea implementation: This project will start before the Unit test. Most students should have
knowledge of linear functions, quadratic functions, and cubic functions.
After watching the video, students will be grouped in groups of four. Each group should select one of Linear
function, quadratic function, and cubic function to make a video. The video content should explain the concept
of the functions selected by each group and include how each group displays the selected function in a graph.
This video project will be announced the day after the exam.
Importance of technology: The use of this software is to give students complete control to let them create a
video for/on their own. The purpose of using software that gives students complete control to show their
knowledge. Learning to use the software, along with combination with educational material, this will raise
their critical thinking level and the LoTi level to the highest.

Reflective Practice: I feel this project will keep the students to show their knowledge by creating a
presentation/video. Not only students are creating their own work, but also they will be interacting with the
information. Students will be using the new information to create their own work also using this information
as support. This will allow students to become aware of what it for doing research and technology to create a
final product using that information. This will allow the students to go back and review their videos. This video
project will be used to reinforce the material presented in class.
