Mayor Moore, [AL as night's mectng, the Quiney Park Board discussed the proposed Intergovernmental Agreement (0G) related to rvoriont development. Mos of our time was spent compiling 8 ist questions that would help us make an informed decision, The results ofthat process ar listed below. Your email earir today indicated you would be open to changes. I the Park Board insisted that one of those be appointed by the Park Board, would you agee to that? Yes, I would propose that the county ity and park distit each appoint a community member. So instead of we community members there would be thee, Ifyou feel tat would be ok, we can revise the agreement o reflect that change before the City, County and Park Distt vote onthe agreement, 2-$400,000— Even though the Park Distt is not contributing this point, we ask the following. ‘A. How do you envision the $400,000 being spent? It wil be sponta curled bythe agreement for ‘consultant services with Klingner& Assoeates, SWT Design, Convergence and meStrong (Consultant ‘Agreement tached), 8, Will you support using a small portion to survey the propery lines and easements along the rverfont fom Broadway tothe south boundary of Edgewater Pack? ‘The Scope of Work (Exhibit L) of the Agreement for Consultant Services includes toposrapical survey fiom Edgewater Prk to Bob Banger Park. The topographical survey will include indicating pacol and rightofeway information from parcel mapping and in-house data. The scope doesnot include detailed Property surveys and uilty locations that would typically be collected during the detailed design phase. This “summer we were contacted by American Cruise Lines (ACL) to possibly come to Quiney 14 tes throughout the summer and fll. We developed programming and transportation options to prepare the City for such a visit. The river depth fell to such a level that without a dock, it would not be possible for ACL to unload passengers in a way they felt would be good for them. ACL said they will take another Took at us inthe fate, 8. Do you have specific projections about the impact on tourism or the local economy? QACVB recently reviewed the tourism expenditure multiplier and willbe using $250 pe visitor per night for tourism tuavel. This would be determined once a cost was known and the boards wanted to prosoed further. Furthermore, there are stato ‘and Federal grant opportunites that are availabe to communities.
