Lesson- ​Teach very basics of trumpet playing

Goal-​ Teach the student how to properly assemble, hold, and play a starting pitch on the trumpet.

Procedure:
- Show how to properly hold the trumpet, include holding fingers high and use ball of
fingers (making a “C”), ring finger on the left hand through third valve slide ring.

- Teach proper posture, sitting up straight and breathing down to the abdomen.

- Teach Correct embouchure on the mouthpiece first, then add trumpet and have student
play a G.
