20. Ozone in ambient air ***I (debate)

Mr Davies introduced his report, drawn up on behalf of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health
and Consumer Policy, on the proposal for a European Parliament and Council directive relating to ozone
in ambient air (COM(1999) 125 % C5-0048/1999 % 1999/0068(COD) (A5-0062/2000).

emission ceilings for certain atmospheric pollutants (COM(1999) 125 % C5-0047/1999 % 1999/
0067(COD) (A5-0063/2000).

22. Environmental legislation (debate)

The next item was a joint debate on two oral questions to the Commission on the structural fund pro-
grammes in the Member States and national implementation of Community environmental legislation,
tabled by the following Members:

% Poettering and Schnellhardt, on behalf of the PPE-DE Group (B5-0208/2000).

Mrs Jackson moved the oral questions (B5-0014 and 0208/2000).
