MEMORANDUM FOR SEE DISTRIBUTION

SUBJECT: Announcement of Position Vacancy for the 310th Sustainment Command

(Expeditionary), Assistant Chief of Staff (ACoS), G-4, Indianapolis IN 46216.

1. The purpose of this memorandum is to solicit applications for assignment as the 310th
Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), Assistant Chief Of Staff G4, located at 9851 E. 59th
Street, Indianapolis, IN 46216-1026. The following TPU position is available IAW vacancy date
given below:

ACoS, G-4 LTC LG/90A 1 April 2018

Duty Description: Directs, devolves and performs logistical management operations that
involve planning, coordinating and evaluating logistical actions required to support the
Commands mission and over 7,000 Soldiers. Identifies specific requirements for
funding, manpower, material and services to support mission. Provides direct support to
the Commanding General and subordinate unit commanders. Establishes, integrates,
and implements SOPS and policies.

2. Applicants will possess the following prerequisites:

a. Be in the grade of LTC or MAJ(P).

b. Be fully deployable and eligible for mobilization.

c. Possess Mandatory Removal Date (MRD) of not less than 2 years from projected
vacancy date.

d. Passed the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) within the past 12 months of the
announcement suspense date.

e. Meet height and weight standards of AR 600-9, The Army Weight Control Program.

3. Officers who desire consideration should submit the following documents (redact all SSNs):

a. Statement of Interest (memorandum required) – explaining your interest in this

position.

b. Official DA Photo.

c. Updated DA Form 2B (Personnel Qualifications Records – Part I. Individual

Ready Reserve (IRR) or Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) officers should
submit a copy of a DA Form 4037 (Officer Record Brief) in lieu of form 2B.

d. Military Resume of Career Service / Biography (format enclosed).

e. Copies of profiled Officer Evaluation Reports (OER) from the last five years.
Officers can retrieve OERs from the Personnel Electronic Records Management
System (PERMS) or https://www.hrc.army.mil/portal, “My Records” portal.

f. Copy of most recent Army Physical Fitness Test Scorecard (DA Form 705).

g. If applicable, copy of Height/Weight Standard Worksheet (DA Form

5500/5501).

h. Statement of travel distance (format enclosed).

4. Officers requesting consideration for this position should submit their packet
