 WHY THESE TOPICS?

The topics discussed in my projects are topics that are held close to
everyone’s hearts; it has been proven in a number of studies that
every human being suffers from the effects of depression at least
once in their lives, and a common time for it to occur is between the
ages of 12 and 20.

Spreading awareness of this major problem is very important, and

these projects are aimed at the age group most effected. The
programmes will therefore be something that many viewers can
relate to and understand if they are broadcasted.

Through the use of secondary research, I was able to collect a

sizeable amount of data from trusted sources and real
medical/psychological professionals.

All of these factual sources state that music’s effectiveness
extends from being a simple mood changer, to aiding
productivity in the workplaces, and even helping pain
management in injured patients resting in hospitals.

If funded, I will be able to show all of this memorable,

informative data to a key audience in my projects.
