Interpretation : Positive moderate relationship between the age of diabetic patient and the number of diabetic medication taken in a day.
Discussion of Figure 1 :
The figure 1 shows that there is a relationship between the age of diabetic patients and the number of diabetic medications taken in a day by them. The result
obtained by the calculation using the Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation ( r ) formula indicates that the direction and the degree of the relationship
between the age of diabetic patients and the number of diabetic medications taken in a day are positive moderate. As the age of diabetic patients increases,
the number of diabetic medications taken in a day increases with an exception for some individuals. Therefore, it can be assumed that age does influence the
number of diabetic medications that are needed to be taken in day either oral medications, insulin injections or both of the medications.
