Modeling

Today I will be teaching you about the life cycle of a Salmon fish. The
teacher will start to show a “Salmon fish” to students. Then the teacher tells
them a story about the life cycle of a Salmon fish. First, the teacher will
move salmon fish and say: " Salmon fish everyday swim in the sea in the
water swimming, swimming, and swimming. After many days, Salmon fish
has something in her tummy, it has eggs. It stays here and ley the eggs in
the water 1 egg to 5 eggs there are many eggs in the water. After that,
Salmon fish is tired and it goes to sleep.". Then the teacher says for them
the first stage is "eggs". The teacher shows them the eggs in the water and
says: " after a period of time the eggs hatch" and show them the “young
fish”. Then the teacher says "all the young fish go out, it needs food to
grow up and swim in the water and eat. Then say for them the second stage
is "young fish”. The young fish grow and become an adult.

Tr: ask the students how many stage salmon fish they have?

Tr: will write three different stages in the whiteboard like egg, young fish
and adult.

Students will work individually in the group. They will need more guidance

to do this activity. The teacher will give each them flipbook and a set of
(ppt)
pictures with the name of stages. The student must match the pictures in
 Whiteboard order, then paste the name of the stages to the correct pictures in a flipbook.

Students will work individually in the group. They will have an empty
flipbook. The student must start to draw inside the flipbook of three stages
of a salmon life cycle in order, then write the name of each stage.

Master activity:

In this activity, students will work individually. The teacher will give each
them flipbook with describing. The student starts to draw all the stages with
writing the name of each stage, then read the describing and paste it to the
correct stage.

 The teacher will clap her hand and ask the students to clean up their
table.

Resources Plenary (5 minutes)

Tr: will do a recap for the lesson. She will ask them what did you learn
today?

The teacher will give all the students an exit ticket and ask them to write
three stages of the life cycle of salmon.
