CONSTANCIA DE ASESORAMIENTO
El que suscribe Blgo. Mblgo. Rosa Portal, hace constar que he asesorado el
presente Informe Teórico Práctico titulado “DOSAJE DE ALBUMINA EN SUERO”
MÉTODO COLORIMÉTRICO.
In this report I will talk about the dosing of albumin in blood by the colorimeter method:
Albumin is a protein produced by the liver. Albumin helps keep fluid in the bloodstream
without leaking into other tissues. It also transports several substances through the body,
for example, hormones, vitamins and enzymes. Low albumin levels could indicate a liver
or kidney problem. The albumin test measures the amount of albumin in the blood.
Albumin also has the function of maintaining blood pressure as it favors colloidal osmotic
pressure to maintain fluids in the bloodstream and not to pass to the tissues, maintaining
a balance. Therefore, the concentration of albumin in the blood is much higher than that
of sodium or chlorine, unlike the tissues in which the opposite occurs.
The liver is the main source of albumin synthesis, if liver cells are damaged, serum
albumin will decrease.
If the kidney malfunctions, albumin will be lost in the urine, the concentration of the
serum in the serum appearing low.
In deficiency states due to exaggerated diets or malnutrition, serum albumin can also be
found low.
There are medications that can alter the determination of serum albumin, and may appear
higher if anabolic steroids, androgens, growth hormone and insulin are being taken.
The objective that the following work pursued is that the reader be informed of the
importance of having a good albumin in the blood and thus keep a check and avoid
diseases in the liver or kidney.

ANEXOS
I. INTRODUCCIÓN
