Job Description – HRBP Surat

This position is responsible for ensuring timely, prompt and efficient delivery and implementation of
all HR services, policies and program for business. Also responsible for development and
implementation of procedures and processes aimed at ensuring high standard of delivery and
continuous improvement of the service.
 He/she will be part of the HR Leadership team and work with the Head HR / Surat
Centre Head to define & execute the HR strategy for the corporate organization.
 Align business practice with people to drive effective performance. Identify, analyze,
scale and implement best practices suited for the organization through effective HR
interventions.
 Be an active mentor and coach for senior management on people and business
practices. Coach Manager’s on people management and HR challenges
 Evaluate potential employee challenges and address proactively to enhance
employee satisfaction.
 Develop and nurture professional relationship with peers, colleagues, business and
senior leaders and build effective employee engagement strategy for Surat Location.
 Create effective analytical tools & reports to analyze employee information. (
Governance tool)
 Collaborate with Training Academy team (L&D team) and business in identifying
training needs. Responsible for tracking the effectiveness of training programs and
suggest stake holders for improvisation.
 Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations
issues ensuring a balance in representing all parties- interests

Key Result Areas:


 Talent Acquisition & Management:
 Manpower need analysis and performance assessment of existing workforce targeted
towards manpower rationalization at SRK CG
 Lead all recruitment related activities right from sourcing, screening, interview to
salary negotiation, end to end coordination with business heads, hiring managers and
vendors to meet all hiring needs
 Conducting recruitment drives, campus recruitment and background verification
 Identification and head hunting of every niche & critical profile in SRK CG - Surat
 Maintaining recruitment database
 Ensuring pre / post hiring process related formalities and smooth onboarding of
employees.
 Performance Management & Reward:
 Managed appraisal process across all levels and maintaining established framework
for substantiating performance appraisal system and reward programs linked to
performance.
 Supporting business managers for KRAs/objecting setting, mid-term and year-end
review, and ensuring for feedback session with team members.
 Merit Salary Increase (Annual salary review) and PLR distributions based on
performance rating.
 Compensation Management:
 Directing the preparation, distribution of written & verbal information for informing
employees of benefits, compensation and personnel policies.
 Administering and verifying the statistical data, reports for identifying & determining
causes of personnel problems and developing recommendations for improvement.
 Learning & Development & OD:
 Identify training needs across levels by mapping of skills required for particular
positions and analysis of existing level of competencies.
 Responsible for planning, organizing and evaluating both internal and external
trainings.
 Enhancing organizational effectiveness through exercises related to
 Organization restructuring
 Job evaluation and related the same with promotion exercise
 Implementation of X-Matrix and driving up to DH
 Mentoring and Buddy initiatives etc.
 Employee Engagement Initiatives:
 Responsible to increase employee engagement score through conducting and Survey
and presenting report and suggestion to senior management for the further action.
 Facilitate, organize and conduct various employee engagement initiatives i.e.
Employee Connect Meeting, Town-hall meeting, etc.
 Developing and implementing new ideas/engagement interventions to increase the
employee engagement score by branding HR services.
 Core team member for designing, formulation, enforcement of new HR Practices and
innovative adaptation of the existing policies geared towards higher employee
engagement score for the unit.
 Contract Labour Management and Industrial Relations:
 Liaison with Govt. Offices like Labour Office, Factory Office & Local Employment
Exchange office.
 Ensuring the implementation of Statutory Compliances from Company side & from
Contractor side.
 Employee Counseling, Disciplinary Actions & Grievance Handling etc.
 Facilitating Monthly Interaction meeting with Contractor
 Time Office Management
 HR Operations and Policies:
 Designed HR SOPs for the organization in alignment within the frame of Corporate HR
Policies and the requirement of various standards.
 Conduct various awareness session on employee benefits and to manage all
personnel related concerns / queries.
 Responsible for maintaining employee life cycle events in HRMS system
 Error free maintenance and updation of employee master data including pay data
 MIS generation: preparation of monthly head count reports, PF reports, CTC and
variance data, data for ERP, attrition report and any other report as and when
required
 Providing monthly payroll inputs to the Finance Payroll team and verifying the
processed payroll
 Statutory Compliance – PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Contract Labour.
 Attendance and leave management from payroll perspective
 Roll out and follow through of quarterly & annual appraisals, from initiation to closure
 Timely initiation and renewal of retainers contracts
 Preparing of F&F inputs and validation of the F&F prepared by Finance team
 Preparing master employee data for annual renewal of employee insurances and co-
ordination with various group companies for their data and coverage requirements
 Preparation of monthly insurance data (new joiners/ exits/ changes) for insurance
updation
 Co-ordination with TPA for timely settlement of employees medical claims
 Driving the Apprentice Program Effectively in Surat
 Verification of third party resources pay out
 Ensuring accurate data of employees in the HRMS System

 Salary: INR 12,00,000 - 14,00,000 P.A.
