ABSTRACT

Math and Science are both extremely important when it comes to building cognitive

skills. Each mathematical problem follows a precise method of problem solving and this

enhances the problem solving skills that of which he or she may use later on her or his life.

Mathematician and candidates who have strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

are often hired by companies and multinationals. This is study aimed to know if there is an

improvement and advancement of STEM students of Manaoag National Senior high School

in the fields of Sciences and Mathematics. The researcher used the descriptive survey

questionnaire to gathered data because descriptive survey is the most effective and fastest

way to gather data that was needed in the study. This study was conducted directly to the

STEM students of Manaoag National Senior High School pertaining in the experience of the

STEM student if the STEM strand boosted the knowledge of STEM students in the subjects

Sciences and Mathematics. The percentage of agreement that STEM strand boosted and

improved the knowledge of STEM students of Manaoag National Senior High School in the

subjects Sciences and Mathematics are verified based on the results in the analyzed data.
