Today i have an interisting topic about Bullying. And so we have a special guest. She is a
psychologist. Please welcome, Mrs. Yunita!!

Hai, Mrs. Yunita, how are you?

Yunita : Hai, Shafa. I’m fine thank you. How are you?

Shafa : I’m really great today. Please sit down here. Mrs. Yunita, we all had known that nowadays
case of bullying is more and more . So, what do you think about bullying?

Yunita : In psychology, bullying is the use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate or
aggressively dominate others.

Shafa : yups. Then, to clarify, we have a guest that she is a victim of a case of bullying. Let us call
Bilqis, her mom Risma and her teacher Cindy.

So, is that true you are bilqis, one of the victim of bullying in your school?

Bilqis : Yes, I am.

Shafa : Can you tell us, why can you be bullied?

Bilqis : I was a taciturn and morose student. I never talk to other students first. Half of my friend at
school think that i was a cocky. In my school, there was the most popular group. They’re
always disturb other students. And also me. Because I'm quiet, they always tell me to do a
lot of things and hit me and grab my hair if I don't do it. So, for two years, since 2017, i have
to do all of their command. I was very afraid even just to refuse. (nangis tapi biasa aja)

Shafa : Mrs. Risma Are you aware of the incident?

Risma : To be honest, i never knew it before 2 months ago. She never told me. Everytime she
comes home with a bruised face, she just told me that she was fall on the road or something
like that. She don’t want to be honest with me. And finally, 2 months ago, she told the truth
about how she was treated arbitrarily. My heart is so sick just to heard that.

Shafa : And Mrs. Cindy, does the school know about this bullying case and is there anything that
has been done by the school to follow up on this case?

Cindy : at first, we didn’t now about that. There’s no students reported a case. But,we,the school
claimed wrong because we could not take care of the students so well that this case could
occur. we have sentenced the perpetrators of bullying by dropout them from school. And we
will make sure
Shafa : hopefully. So, Mrs. Yunita, what do you think about this case of bullying and what we
should do to against the case of bullying?
Yunita : of course this case is a case of concern. Where people use the nature of others for their
personal interests. in Indonesia itself, the perpetrators of bullying can be sentenced to
imprisonment for a maximum of 3 (three) years 6 (six) months and / or a maximum fine of
Rp. 72 million. although sometimes this criminal does not apply to minors. there are 5 ways
to deal with bullying in schools including:
 1. Prove that we are superior to them.
2. Try to get up from yourself. If we want to be free from bullying, everything starts from
ourselves.
3. Dare to report it to parents or teachers. If we are bullied, it's better to ask for help from
parents or teachers.
4. Don't try to end your life
5. Pray to God Almighty. Pray to God Almighty for patience in dealing with problems.

and also as parents, we should monitor our child's condition and be observant of signs of bullying.
Don't let us miss it.

the same for schools. schools must continue to monitor the behavior of students at school. this case
will certainly have an impact on other students too.

Shafa : correctly. we all expect that this case of bullying should never happen again. therefore let
us oppose bullying and the perpetrators of bullying. stop bullying from now, for a brighter
