The journal publishes research from various topics in health economics, including but is not
limited to the following topics:

 Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN)

Article published in Jurnal EKI is determined through the blind review process conducted by
editor and reviewer of Jurnal EKI. This process considers several factors such as relevance of
the article and its contribution to the development of accounting practices and accounting
profession as well as compliance to the requirement of a published article. Editor and reviewer
provide evaluation and constructive suggestions for the author.

Peer Review Process

Jurnal Ekonomi Kesehatan Indonesia (Jurnal EKI) applies single-blind peer review process for
each manuscript which involves editors and 2 (two) reviewers. Decision of article to be published
in the journal considers several factors such as relevance of the article and its contribution to the
development of accounting practices and accounting profession as well as compliance to the
requirement of a published article. Editors and reviewers provide evaluation and constructive
suggestions for the author.
Review process in Jurnal Jurnal Ekonomi Kesehatan Indonesia (Jurnal EKI) consists of following
stages, in which editor will provide decision on each stage.
1. Initial review by editor
2. Single-blind peer review process by 2 (two) reviewers
3. Final review by editor
Publication Frequency
Jurnal Ekonomi Kesehatan Indonesia (Jurnal EKI) has published research articles since July
2016. Jurnal EKI has regularly published four issues per year.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research
freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among
participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for
purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Author Guidelines
For Indonesian Health Economic Journal (Jurnal EKI)
Introduction
In submitting the manuscript (s) to Indonesian Health Economic Journal (Jurnal EKI), authors are
suggested to understand that it should correspond to the guidelines, including citation, graphic
and table placement. Manuscript (s) that do not meet the guidelines will be sent back to the
authors for further adjustments.

Article Structure
Manuscripts should be prepared as follows: titles and abstracts in both Bahasa Indonesia and
English, authorships; Keywords; Introduction; Methods; Result; Discussion; Conclusion; and
Reference List as described.

 Introduction includes background, brief literature review, and study objectives

 Methods include study design, selected population, sample size, data source, data collection
and analysis procedure
 Results contain concise and clear paragraphs of findings without authors’
perspectives/opinion. Consist of no more than 6 tables or figures that are written in single
space and numbered.
 Discussion should explore significance of the findings, instead of repeating them. It should
contain relevant comparison with previous theories and studies without extensive citations.
 Conclusion and suggestions (if applicable) should answer the objectives of the study
without exceeding the findings. Suggestions should perfectly align with study objectives and
conclusion.
Title Cover
This section should cover:

 Manuscript titles in both Bahasa Indonesia and English not more than 20 words, without any
abbreviations and numeric values. It should not be a summary of the result or conclusion, yet
describing the whole study or research topic.
 Authorships should be written in full name without any degree titles.
 Include affiliations of all authors, including: department, institutions, city, province, and
country
 One author should be designated as a corresponding authors with contact details:
o Full Name
o Mailing Address
o Phone Number
o Email
 Brief title in the corner of the page, no more than 50 letters (including space)

Abstract
Abstract is written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English in 100-200 words. It should be a
comprehensive paragraph including background, study objectives, methods, result, discussion,
and conclusion along with 3-5 keywords. There should not be any citations in this section.
Main Body
Manuscripts should be sent in Microsoft Word or Open Office in accordance to article structure
mentioned above, written in Times New Roman in font size of 12, double spaced, 1 inch (2.54
cm) for all margin and not more than 3000 words (not including tables, figures and references).
Page number is started from the cover page.
Reference List, Table and Figure
Main body should be followed by: Reference list, tables and graphs.

 Tables are written in single space and numbered in sequence. There should be no more than
6 (six) tables and/or graphs with brief titles.
 Cite only papers read for the manuscripts with 6 (six) sure names and initials of authors. Use
“et al (et al)” for the remaining authors (if any).
 Indonesian Health Economic Journal follows Harvard citation style with alphabetical order.
Publication from the same person and year is written with additional letter of a, b, c, etc. in
subsequence to the year of publication. This condition is applied for the citations both in the
main body and reference list, e.g.:

Pedoman Penulisan di Jurnal Ekonomi Kesehatan Indonesia (Jurnal EKI)
Dalam mengajukan naskah ke Jurnal Ekonomi Kesehatan Indonesia (Jurnal EKI) penulis
sebaiknya mengetahui bahwa naskah harus sesuai dengan syarat desain penulisan Jurnal
EKI. Penulis diminta mengikuti syarat untuk citasi dan referensi, gambar, dan tabel. Naskah yang
tidak memenuhi persyaratan dari desain penulisan Jurnal Ekonomi Kesehatan Indonesiaakan
dikembalikan ke penulis untuk direvisi.

Struktur Naskah
Isi naskah sebaiknya disusun dengan susunan sebagai berikut: Judul dalam bahasa Indonesia
dan Bahasa Inggris, Pengarang; Abstrak, Kata Kunci, Pengantar; Metode; Hasil; Pembahasan;
Kesimpulan; Daftar Pustaka. Adapun penjelasan lebih lanjut dari masing-masing bagian adalah
sebagai berikut:

 Pendahuluan berisi latar belakang, ulasan singkat dari literatur yang relevan dan tujuan
penelitian
 Metode berisi desain penelitian, populasi, sampel, sumber data, teknik / instrumen
pengumpulan data, dan prosedur analisis data.
 Hasil adalah penemuan dari penelitian yang jelas dan ringkas tanpa opini dari penulis. Tabel
dicantumkan dengan menggunakan single space dan diberikan nomor secara berututan
sesuai dengan munculnya dalam naskah. Dalam bagian hasil dibatasi hanya maksimal enam
tabel atau gambar dengan judul singkat.
 Pembahasan berisi argumentasi akan hasil penelitian berdasarkan teori dan penemuan
sebelumnya yang relevan.
 Kesimpulan dan Saran menjawab masalah penelitian tetapi tidak melebihi kapasitas dari
hasil temuan. Saran seharusnya sesuai dengan tujuan dan kesimpulan yang logis dan tepat.

Halaman Judul
Halaman Judul sebaiknya menyantumkan:

 Judul Naskah tertulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris sebaiknya tidak lebih dari
20 kata, tidak ada singkatan atau nilai-nilai numerik. Judul sebaiknya bukan merupakan
ringkasan dari hasil atau kesimpulan tapi menggambarkan penelitian atau topik dari tulisan
ilmiahnya.
 Tulis nama pengarang dengan lengkap tanpa menyantumkan gelar pendidikan atau profesi.
 Tulis institusi dari semua pengarang termasuk: nama departemen, institusi, kota, profinsi,
dan Negara.
 Nama, alamat lengkap untuk surat, nomor telepon, dan alamat e-mail dari pengarang yang
dapat dihubungi mengenai naskah.
 Judul singkat untuk pada sudut halaman, tidak lebih dari 50 karakter dan spasi,

Abstrak
Abstrak ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris dengan dengan batasan 100 sampai
200 kata. abstrak disajikan dalam satu paragraf dengan mencakup masalah, tujuan, metode,
hasil, dan pembahasan bersama dengan 3-5 kata kunci. Referensi atau daftar pustaka tidak
termasuk dalam bagian ini dalam naskah.
Bagian Utama
Naskah ditulis menggunakan aplikasi seperti MS Word atau Open Office disusun dengan urutan
Pendahuluan, Metode, Hasil, Pembahasan dan Kesimpulan. Naskah ditulis dengan font Times
New Roman dengan ukuran 12. Naskah menggunakan spasi dua dengan pengaturan semua
margin 1 inch atau 2,54 cm dan dibatasi maksimal 3000 kata. Setiap halaman naskah diberikan
nomor halaman secara berurutan, dimulai dari halaman judul.
Referensi, Tabel, dan Gambar
Setelah bagian utama pengarang harus menyantumkan: Referensi/Daftar Pustaka, Tabel,
Gambar. semuanya harus dimasukkan dari halaman baru dari naskah. Gambar yang
dicantumkan harus juga disertakan file asli secara terpisah dari naskah.

 Tabel diketik 1 spasi dan diberi nomor urut sesuai dengan urutan penampilan dalam teks.
Jumlah maksimal 6 tabel dan atau gambar dengan judul singkat.
 Citasi hanya publikasi ilmiah yang anda baca dan referensi jurnal saat ini. Cantumkan enam
nama belakang dan inisial nama depan dari penulis, jika ada penulis lainnya dapat
dicantumkan dengan "et al (et al)".
 Sistem Harvard menggunakan urutan pemunculan berdasarkan nama penulis secara
alfabetis. Publikasi dari penulis yang sama dan dalam tahun yang sama ditulis dengan cara
menambahkan huruf a, b, atau c dan seterusnya tepat di belakang tahun publikasi (baik
penulisan dalam daftar pustaka maupun sitasi dalam naskah tulisan).
