1. Identify the Philosophy of Manuel L. Quezon and simply explain.

- Education for better citizenship
The primary aim of education is to sustain individual and societal improvement.
Education is the process of learning and expanding culture, and, as it contributes
to the improvement of human condition through better knowledge, health, living
conditions, social equity and productivity, is a central tool for social progress.
- Education as a mean of livelihood
Through education, we learn to establish businesses. It transforms us completely
from inside and outside by changing our mind and personality and improves our
confidence on competing
2. Point of view on the duties of citizen.

- It shall be the duty of every citizen to be loyal to the Republic of the Philippines,
honor the Philippine Flag, defend the state, contribute to its development and
welfare, uphold constitution and obey the laws, pay taxes, and cooperate with
the duly constituted authorities in the attainment and maintenance of the rule
of law and of a peaceful, just, humane, and orderly society.

3. On his idea on how we could strengthen the Filipino values. Live up to the noble
traditions of our people. Venerate the memory of our heroes. Their lives point the
way to duty and honor.

- This again seems to mix two ideas. One is to take pride in the traditions and
history of the Philippines, and the other is to venerate heroes and emulate
them. Well, I tend to think that prizing history and culture and regional
differences and languages is a good thing. But I also tend to think Filipinos do
too much hero worshiping without really finding much to emulate while doing
so.
