INTRODUCTION:
Global Ayurveda Village(GAV) project is a cross sectorial concept leveraging the
interlinkages between Industries and health care.
The GAV attempts to incorporate most modern scientific developments in
diagnostic and all other treatment aspects with classical Ayurveda.
Though Ayurveda is well-known as an alternate treatment methodology; the
issues faced by the sector have never been addressed methodically, which
includes lack of infrastructure for skills development of professionals,
Standardization, Documentation, International recognition, Global Acceptance,
Marketing, Entrepreneurship development, use of modern technologies in
diagnosis, Research and Development, etc.
