Using a Larger Chart To Filter
 Reference Areas I like marked on my charts

• The PP of Floor Trader Pivots on the NQ (all pivots and

mid points on all other instruments)

• Previous days H-L-C (using Globex hours 6pm est start

and 5pm est end)

• 50% Fibonacci retracement (regular trading hours &

Globex 6pm est open and 5pm est close.)

• 200 EMA & 90 EMA

• Major support and resistance areas and congestion areas

created intraday
 You can trade this set up on anything

• I prefer Futures – NQ, 6e, CL, ES but you can trade this set up on any
market that you like including equities.

• You can trade this set up off any type chart you prefer and any time, tick or
range size that you like. The larger the chart the less noise and the larger
the stop you are going to need.

Current market environment use a larger chart:

• NQ 4 - 8 Range (4 entry and 8 filter) – Right now using 6/12 or 8/16 range
• CL 4 - 8 Range
• 6e (I trade this premarket) 3 – 6 Range or 4 – 8 Range
• ES 3 - 6 Range or 2 – 4 Range

• Whatever market and chart size you decide to try this on I ask that
you test it first.

• Range Charts – Range charts I use 3,3,3 settings on Super Trend
