I would like to thank the HOD of Changhong Ruba for helping me in my internship period by
giving me the opportunity to observe and evaluate how the company works, what its operations
are and how it engages the market. This helped me gain practical experience of the market and
above that helped me picture my past three years BBA education to its full potential.
Executive Summary
Main purpose of internship with Changhong Ruba was to extract a valuable knowledge by
working with professional employees in order to apply the knowledge acquired during BBA
HONS program. Report includes; Complete introduction, Vision and Mission.
My internship period is 2nd September 2019 to 12th October. Personal experience; that include
working in Human Resources (HR) Dept of the organization and other departments. Report
Also includes; SWOT, PEST, and Financial Analysis of Changhong Ruba. Information Also
includes: departments, Job descriptions, which their employees have to perform to get the
companies work done, and the strategies which help them gain competitive advantage.

CHR trading which includes branch expenses, vendors' expenses, and payments and pate cash
(monthly cash that is paid to the department to cover its day to day expenses). Visa management
for the international employees, Air ticketing and hotel bookings arrangements.
Responsibilities also include Fleet management which includes the responsibility of driver
control, vehicle management, and car insurance. The admin department is also responsible for
the rental agreements of the company’s showrooms and offices.
The IT department of Changhong Ruba plays an important role in helping the CHR to compete
with the modern systems of a competitive industrial environment. The particulars that come
under the control of IT department of CHR includes the following duties , software’s (file
sharing , HR-MS and new software),networks (routing and switching), security and
surveillance( giving the complete update to the company as well as the supplier if any problem
occurs),Domain and Hosting ( official website of Changhong Ruba , chamghongruba.com.pk),
Telecom( partner Zong 258+ corporate number administration) , IT asserts ( company laptop
and all IT equipment) these are the duties that come under IT department that it has to perform
to keep all the operation good to go and help CHR to keep its day to day operation going.
Imports Department
This department is responsible for import of spare parts and assembly units and tools to help
manufacture the product. They are responsible for to make LC (letter of credit) cover all the
port requirements including import duties and customs clearance. They are responsible for
counting the total imports made. These imports are from china, the china port clearance and
the clearance of Pakistani port is their responsibility.
This department maintains record of all credit sales and makes recoveries from the respective
dealers and the individuals who have purchased Changhong Ruba appliances. They make
lawful action against the respective creditor. If they are not able to recover the credit the legal
department steps in which has a lawyer who files a case against the respective bad debt in the
consumer court. It’s the duty of this specific department to recover credit sales amount.
The main function of this department of Changhong Ruba is to find cheap and quality buyers
who give the competitive rates on which Changhong Ruba can save cost and earn more profit.
To negotiate with the suppliers and convince them to supply the required products better in
quality. The cheaper you buy the more margins you get. These saving in costs help the company
to spend that money in R&D and betterment of their company as well as products.
The audit department creates and implements procedures and controls to ensure that the
finances of a company are managed in accordance with established principles. It also conducts
periodic audits to check the accuracy of recordkeeping and accounting and to ensure that
procedures and controls are working properly. Quality control (QC) is a procedure or set of
procedures intended to ensure that a manufactured product or performed service adheres to a
defined set of quality criteria or meets the requirements of the client or customer. QC is similar
to, but not identical with, quality assurance (QA)
Marketing Department
Changhong Ruba marketing department promotes business and drives sales of its products
or services. It provides the necessary research to identify CHR target customers and other
audiences. Depending on the company’s hierarchical organization, a marketing director,

In my six weeks internship protocol, I have been evolving from stage to stage with proper
manifestation at changhong Ruba. My first day at the internship, they gave a brief introduction

company” they both have collaboratively formed a company that is entitled as ‘Changhong
Ruba’.
It was a wonderful experience working with the company like Changhong Ruba they have
showed quite hospitality which helped me in learning different practical operations that an
employee experiences in there day to day works. Visiting this organization helped me to
develop skills which can help me in my practical life. The observations which they allowed me
to do were a source of guideline for me as if I worked as an employee or start my own venture.
The division of departments was according to as we have studied in the three years of our BBA
degree program and this thing helped me to picture what I have studied in past couple of years.
After meeting the HODs of the major departments and having a healthy conversation about
their department operations, I came to know, how they are helping the company to achieve
competitive advantage. Visiting the Hyper channel was a way above experience. I deeply
observed how their major sales take place and the training of their sales representatives which
helped CHR to have competitive sales in a competitive market that contained appliances which
have a good image in customers mind but the way Sales representatives present their products
convinced the customers on the spot and they buy the product. As their employees have full
knowledge of the products that they are selling on behalf of CHR.
As I have visited their showroom, everything was partially okay but one thing that I think their
showroom must improve the spacing between their refrigerators because it is not easy to open
due to their tight arrangement.
