1) A pollution or anything which is dangerous that causes losses
2) yes,it’s dangerous because if food is get contamination with things are poisonous. Of
course that’s can disturb our healthy.

 Exercise 1.
1) The function of cleaning is removed all contaminants from food and separated to
leave the surface of the food in suitable condition further processing.
2) Poultry industry in indonesia are very good. Why i say that, because when i
visited poultry industry, that’s look very cleans. They keep cleans all product from
poultry. Start from egg to poultry.
3) Because at the first harvest, the result of harvest need to be give a treatment. The
result of harvest tend to suffer physical and chemical damage. Therefore
prevention needs to be done to avoid some damage to the harvest result.
4) To separate good and bad products. Because usually, a bad product will
contaminate a good product if it’s not separated.
5) Mechanical separation method.
6) to prevent damage to subsequent processing equipment by stones, bone or metals,
and to prevent time and money from being spent on processing contaminants
which are then discarded.

8) Bad effect of contamination are like poisoning. And thats can disturb our health.
the way To avoid contamination are like washing, peeling or separating.

1) I will do wash my fruit with edible soap or with salt water. Because that can
removed all chemical contamination on the food.
2) Yes, it is possible. The proof is, Now there are organic vegetables and fruit. But, of
course the price is more expensive.
