SOYAL ATTENDANCE MACHINE INSTALLATION MANUAL

Requirements

1. Hardware
a. PC (Desktop or Laptop) as server
b. SOYAL machine (attendance)
c. UPS
2. Software
a. 701Server application
b. 701Client application
c. CMCLOUDXPORTER application

Wire installation

1. Attendance machine power cable extension (Red & Black cable)

2. UPS power cable extension
3. Connect cable(Red)@attendance to port (+12v)@UPS
4. Connect cable(Black)@attendance to port (GND)@UPS
5. Switch on the power button on the side of UPS
6. Connect LAN Port to the LAN
7. Install the attendance machine in the suitable place for employees to daily tap in/out the building
SOYAL Machine IP-Address setting
By default this machine having IP-address : 192.168.1.127, subnet-mask: 255.255.255.0
please freely set to desired IP-address for this machine and ensure in one segment with your network or with
PC that having SOYAL-server & SOYAL-client app installed.

Server IP-Address setting

Please ensure the server is in one segment with the network to have internet connection and is one segment
with the SOYAL machine, i.e. By default SOYAL machine having IP-address : 192.168.1.127, subnet-mask:
255.255.255.0. so the server should also be in segment 192.168.1.xxx under same subnet
SOYAL Server & Client Installation

1. Click here to download server application and here to download client application.
2. Install server app first by right click and choose “Run as Administrator”
3. Follow the process just click next until finish
4. Upon successful installation run the app “701Server”
5. Username: supervisor and Password: supervisor
6. Next go through step 1 to step 3 by clicking icon below (see below pic)

Step-1 (Com)
 Step-2 (Lan)

Note: Please ensure to tick same as picture above unless for the IP-Address

Step-3 (Line)

Note: Picture will be showing as above if SOYAL machine correctly configured and is recognized

7. Next installation of 701Client same like step #2 to install it by “Run as Administrator”

8. Follow the process just click next until finish
9. Download and copy-paste siteID.txt to C:\Program Files (x86)\701Client\ and put your site name into
the file i.e. siteID=CM-KENDARI or siteID=CM-JAYAPURA or siteID=CM-TERNATE etc
10. Setting 701Client, click on “Tools” -> “Time Attendance Export Format”
11. Download and Install CMCLOUDXPORTER and open the application

a. Select range of period to run the process e.g. 1 month, 3month or 1year or select “Daily Export” to
run automatically in daily basis
b. Ensure Site-ID column displays correct ID of your site
c. Ensure correct hour mode displaying -> Hour: Normal (9hrs, 8hrs working time; 1hr break time);
Fasting Ramadhan (8.5hrs)
12. This software has to remain active all the time along with 701Server & 701Client

Note: The synchronization process will run only when there is Internet Connection and regularly run every
1hour
User Registration

1. Finger registration on machine side

a. Press *123456# on the SOYAL attendance machine keypad
b. Choose menu no. 2. User setting then
c. Choose menu no. 6. Enrol Finger
d. Put user sequence in data entry and remember or jot down this ID.
This ID will be user key in the software 701Client (so all user sequence need to be noted down).
e. Enrol first or second finger for the expected user 2 times per each finger during registration
f. Quit admin menu and test the finger, user sequence ID shall be showing
g. Now go to software 701Client to add user detail
h. And click menu #8 user cards edit
i. Then complete the mandatory column as indicated by the red-box (see pic below)
j. At the end of each record’s update process need to press on “Save” then “Download (green)” icon
k. Now setting door group & door name

l. Now test to tap on the machine with registered finger (all tapping activities will be shown in the
701Client window – see pic below)

Note: * is for PREV and # is for NEXT; F1 (UP); F2 (DOWN); F3 (LEFT); F4 (RIGHT)
Daily maintenance for administrator

1. Ensure CMCloudXporter, 701server & 701client application always running all the time
2. If tested (tap-in) on the machine, 701client will show employee in/out log activity accordingly

3. Log activity displayed on the screen reflected in the .txt file, please check e.g. C:\Program Files
(x86)\701Client\201812.txt (this is for December 2018 log of file)
